AI, in its infancy

They say that AI is in its infancy… so it felt like a song needed to be made with a bunch of futuristic brainy babies jacked into a future metaverse. Some thoughts on the video and the future of AI.

"Lifted Up Jam" - Elektron Model Cycles & Samples w/ Eurorack

This was my first fully sequenced jam on the Elektron Model Cycles and Samples. Cycles is going into the Qu-Bit Data Bender. The sample is free floating on Morphagene. Samples is without eurorack efx. Pamela's new workout is handling a lot of the modulation with a little help from clep diaz. Steppy and Pams for the gate/trigs.

Novation Circuit Rhythm + Bitbox Micro, Stages, Data Bender

Here's another mini jam with a smaller setup. I sampled the intellijel plonk for the marimba and the bass sound. I sampled chords from the arturia microfreak and chopped them up in the novation circuit rhythm. This was a little study in using the midi capabilities of the rhythm to control various channels on the micro. Cool module. And then... of course, a clocked data bender makes everything more fun. For the video, I explored masking videos and trying to fit things in a mini tv I found online.

Novation Circuit Rhythm + Mimetic Digitalis, Clep Diaz, Chord v2 & Desmodus Versio / Jam 3

In this mini jam, I used a small setup, sampling the intellijel plonk for the marimba and bass sounds, and the arturia microfreak for chords that were chopped up in the novation circuit rhythm. The rhythm was used to control various channels on the micro, and a clocked data bender was used to add more fun. The video showcases the author's experimentation with masking videos and fitting them into a mini TV found online.
