A few years ago I was struggling with depression and a musical writer’s block. After endlessly searching the web and listening to a handful of internet guru’s talk about inspiration I came across a note that I had written in my Evernote. It just said, ‘write what you know.’ That feels unsexy sometimes. These days I spend a lot of time thinking about accessibility guidelines in design systems, componentry, click thru prototypes, and user testing. I stumbled across another note where I wrote down a list of heuristics that I stumbled across on the web at some point about user centered design.

So… I just started singing them like a mantra and this song was born.
